MENDAKI MERAH PUTIH
Suatu
hari ku ceritakan:
Tentang satu kemerdekaan-
Yang masih bermain layangan,
Seperti ibu menggandeng tangan,
Gadis kecil yang butuh bimbingan.
Butir yang lima tersedia.
Tapi, terlampau kecil untuk dibaca.
Padahal, matanya tak bercadar-
Hanya menjiwainya: tak sampai akar.
Celakalah yang tergugat:
Pelanggar yang tersurat.
Karena mereka salah mengira,
Yang kaku tidaklah terpenjara!
Bangsa ini memang terasingkan!
Tidak! Di mana tempatnya?
Terbujur di hati setiap jiwa harusnya.
Kekayaan yang lebih dari melimpah ruah.
Membuncah dari setiap sudut desa.
Tapi hanya bisa marah-
Ketika diambil seenak rasa.
Aku!
Rincik yang gaduh,
Riuh yang bergemuruh,
Tapi sesungguhnya, akulah dengkur yang
teridur.
Aku!
Satu unsur Negara.
Berdiri tegak di puncak menara kebebasan.
Menghormat tegang
Pada kibarnya bendera setengah tiang.
Tak ada yang harus di cerca.
Bahkan, ketika yang tua dislahkan.
Karena, yang lama sudah menembus pelataran,
Giliran pucuknya yang berkaca.
Lihat! Harta yang kita punya.
Yang dibalut berbagai busana,
Diceritakan banyak bahasa,
Dan dilantunkan beragam irama.
Tanah ini negeriku!
Bangsa luhur dari leluhur.
Yang sempat terguling kedalam sumur.
Milik mata tanpa nurani itu.
Tanah ini negeriku!
Terkungkung dalam nelangsa,
Selama waktu menua.
Terdiam terperangkap waktu,
Berharap kesudahan dengan sejuta rindu.
Kelam takdirmu, negeriku!
Tapi ini zaman kami.
Generasi kini!
Membakar!
Bukan hanya belajar.
Kami berjuang dengan gembira.
Menyalakan api, karena kamilah batubara.
Berdegup kencang jantung tak karuan,
Seperti akan bertunangan.
Inilah zaman kami!
Zaman dari puncak puisi.
Yang membawa nyala merah,
Dari fajar yang bergolak marah,
Dalam gelap gulita pagi.
Kemerdekaan hakikilah janji kami.
Janji yang menjadi darah daging sejak dini.
Tak peduli kematian seorang patih.
Demi mendaki ”merah putih”.

I.
Background
Water is one of the crucial source of life for
animals, plantations, and especially human. People use water in every aspect of
life such as usage in daily life for drinking, cleaning, and agriculture. The
existence of water is extremely important in order to maintain human life
cycle. Previously, the river as a source of irrigation that transported high
amount of water. Then, dense forest prevented soil erosion. As a result, there
were no causes of water erosion and afterwards prevent river swallowing. Water
sources were easily found rather than today. Moreover, water availability quite
different among places. On top of that, many high lands’ water reservoirs are
located far down the valley. As a result, many people work harder in order to
transfer the water uphill by bringing the water with their buckets. There are
some people who have more money, in this case people with more income transfer
the water uphill using the electric water pump and diesel-fuelled water pump.
In connection with energy crisis, automatically affects the price of fuel and
probably it also affects the cost of electricity. As the cost of energy
increases, it will make people especially farmers difficult to get energy for
their daily life and agriculture, because of high cost of energy. In order to
solve those problems, the concept of hydraulic ram pump is applied because of
its sustainability and eco-friendliness to transfer the water uphill.
II.
Objective
According
to the background above, the objective of this project:
1. Ease people to transfer the water
from lower altitude to higher altitude efficiently to fulfil their water
demands.
2. Apply the use of eco-friendly and
sustainable pump.
3. Build prototype that can be used
for campus activities especially laboratory activities.
III.
Expected
Result
The
project is a form of Science and engineering application aimed to help society
in order to get water from the remote water sources by using ram pump without
electricity or any fuel-generated pump. Consequently, the project makes water
transfer become eco-friendly and sustainable.
IV.
Activity
The
project will be conducted in Malang with a notion to fulfill society needs who
are working on plantation and agriculture, but it located away from water
reservoir. These are the following step-by-step program:
1. Brainstorming
This is the first step, all of the
project members identify the problem related to water, irrigation as well as
Ram Pump itself. Afterwards, it continued by looking up several journals and
ended by solving problem in forum and finally the project members finalize
idea.
2. Discussion (meeting 1-4)
3. Project proposal arranging
4. Presentation
Presentation will be conducted to
present and report the planned project in order to get feedback and suggestion
from the supervisor for improvement.
5. Prototyping
Prototyping will be conducted to
produce small scale of the final product of ram pump. This step started after
the concept is fixed.
6. Evaluation
7. Location Survey
The next step is location survey in
order to decide the exact place to implement the final product. This step is
initialized by presenting the final prototype of ram pump to the local people.
8. Engagement
9. Project Execution
The final step is the real implementation
of project. The final product of ram pump is built according to the situation
and condition of target place.
V.
Participants
and Facilitator
Facilitator: Mr. Martinus D. Kurnia
Dewa, M.Sc
The participants will be the
society in the remote area which have mountain farming area.
VI.
Time
The
tools will targeted finish in between July and August 2016. Then will be
implemented in the following week.
