       I.            BACKGROUND
Engineering Student Association is an organization that becomes a place for the engineering students in delivering or providing ideas that later can give a positive value and impact for students in engineering major. Engineering Student Association has committed to hold some events that could encourage the spirit of students to keep analysing and try solving the social problem especially that related with engineering spheres. The event including in community service activities which step ahead to encourage all member of engineering students to implement their knowledge and sharing their innovation or information to the society. Essentially, the community service expects student to be able to apply their knowledge into a real innovation in which can be useful for other people. Besides, this activity hopefully will inspire the other students as the future generation to not only think about their self, but also care about the condition or problem around the society.
Looking around the society, we come into area that located in Bojong Gede, Bogor. People lives at the level of low standard life. Most of them are temporary workers with limited income. However, they are striving of the bills of the building, food, diseases, and so on and so forth. There are several problems that become critical issue, such as the electricity condition, room condition, as well as rubbish that become serious problem. The electricity temporary shutdown frequently in the night lead the children for having trouble at night. They difficult to sleep and cannot have time to study. Moreover, the room condition strongly build unsupportive environment. Every house include five or more people. It is not quite good since the house in form of rent house with the area are limited. As critical as electricity and room condition, rubbish also contribute problems in their daily life. They have no dustbin for placing the rubbish which let them throw the rubbish into the mud area near the housing. As the result, there is a leak of water on their floor when the rain coming. The mud area cannot store the water anymore because of the rubbish. As the consequence, they have not get the standard live yet as well as other place in Bogor.
In the other side, to run this activities we need some skills. Teamwork, analytical skills, communicating skills, and innovative skill are the most influential skill needed. The commitment and hard work should become a foundation for the students to build a strong teamwork. It will be very helpful for student to solve the problem together. Good communication skills are needed in order to make a good sense and delivery to the public, the skill will be important to direct the people attention when presenting the goal and expectation of the program. The innovation skill is obviously important for engineering student, since an engineer must have an ability to create a new thing that should be worth for other people and environment. Those skills are needed for the engineering students (especially) since it will make more benefit in the future carrier of the students. Through this activities, those skill will be developed as well as the activities run.
In conclusion, this community service is proposed to help them in certain problems they faced in electricity and rubbish. We would like to share the knowledge to educate people and children around there to have a better daily live. Through this activities we hope the society realized that they need to minimize the problem around them. Furthermore, through this activities we can show our credibility as the engineering student of Sampoerna University. We are able to create and innovate a better future with curiosity, integrity, and intelligence who care to society and environment.


    II.            OBJECTIVES
This event will be held in order to achieve certain goals which are:
1.      To enhance student’s soft skill and awareness about the social problems.
2.      To encourage student for creating an innovation for helping people to have better life
3.      Sharing knowledge to Bojong Gede society to help them solve the electricity and rubbish issues.
4.      Develop the solidarity, teamwork, and analytical skills for engineering student by solving the real problems

 III.            EXPECTED RESULS
1.      Produce a product as  a new alternative for solving the social problems
2.      Have a good relationship between the student and the society
3.      Each engineer’s student able to work as a good team
4.      The student able to implement the knowledge by to solving the real problem in daily life.

Activities               :
- Socialization the way to solve the problem and give general solution of the problem problems.
- Exhibition if the innovated product to the people and explain how it works (AC from fan)
